KCMS 4.0 is a Windows based software application custom designed for Kiwanis Club Secretary's and Treasurers. Since it's initial release in March 1998, more than 2,000 clubs have implemented KCMS to help ease the record keeping headaches and to manage club's more efficiently.

KCMS can literally save you countless hours of time. And, since the software is licensed to the club, you can have as many members install and use the application as you need, for one low price.

Features for Club Secretary's

A Complete Membership Management System KCMS allows you to enter and track detailed member and guest information, attendance, committees, service projects, awards and much more.

Official Forms Although Kiwanis International is moving to online form submission, KCMS provides a great way to track and summarize information required for the online forms. For example, you can automatically populate the KCMS monthly report based on attendance and service project information tracked else ware in the program!

Member Billing The Invoicing Wizard allows you to bill all (or selected groups) of members in a single action, saving time and adding a professional touch. Inventory items can be customized so that you can invoice members for not only dues, but anything you can think of, such as fundraising materials. Professional, customized Member Statements can be printed and sent to members with a detailed list of their financial activity.

Attendance KCMS can track individual attendance at club meetings and other events for both the 100 Percent Attendance award and for club attendance on the Monthly Report. KCMS also allows you to automatically apply makeup's to a members record based on other meetings that a person has attended within the Kiwanis International guidelines.

Features for Club Treasurers

Cash Based Financial System KCMS utilizes a single entry cash based financial system similar to Quicken or Microsoft Money. Users can maintain multiple bank accounts, detailed budget information and a custom chart of accounts.

Financial Reports The comprehensive financial reports allow you to print multiple Income Statements, Budget Reports, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, as well as the Treasures Report which details bank account activity and is perfect for submitting up to date information to the board.

Apply Checks And Payments You can now apply a single member receipt or vendor check across multiple invoices and accounts.

Purge Financial Activity The purge feature allows different types of financial activity to be purged from the system when it is no longer needed.

General Features

Reports KCMS includes more than 50 standard reports which allow you print member contact lists, mailing labels, a pictorial directory, committee rosters, Aged Receivables Listing, Members Service Projects, Meeting Minutes, 11 Attendance Reports, 12 Financial Reports (see above), and more!

User Interface KCMS utilizes an Outlook style look and feel, pop up calendars for date entry and a consistent menu structure so users familiar with other Windows applications will feel right at home.

Backup and Restore The backup and restore feature is now integrated directly into the program which makes routine backups and officer transition a snap.

Export Data With KCMS you can export existing data to other common file formats such as Excel or Delimited Text files for use outside of the program. For example, you may want to export your member addresses for use in a mail merge with Microsoft Word.

Custom Reports KCMS uses the most popular database format in the world (Microsoft Access) to store it's data and information. If you own Microsoft Access, you can extend the functionality of KCMS by creating your own reports and queries based directly on the KCMS database.
